Privacy Policy
Short version: FlexSnooze collects nothing. Here is the longer version.
Effective date: October 12, 2026FlexSnooze (“the app”) is an alarm clock app for Android. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
FlexSnooze does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. The app has no internet access, no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
What the app stores, and where
FlexSnooze saves your preferences (alarm time, snooze durations and colors, selected sound, vibration setting and light/dark theme choice) using Android’s standard local app storage (SharedPreferences) on your device only. This data:
- never leaves your device,
- is never sent to us or any third party, and
- is deleted automatically if you uninstall the app.
Custom alarm sounds
If you choose your own audio file as an alarm sound, the app remembers where that file is on your device so it can play it. The file is never copied, uploaded or shared. The app does not browse or read any other files on your phone.

Schedule exact alarms
To trigger your alarm at the exact time you set.
Notifications
To wake your phone and show the alarm screen with your snooze and dismiss buttons.
Vibration
For vibration alerts, if you turn that setting on.
Run at startup
So an alarm you already set still goes off after you restart your phone.
Full-screen alerts, wake lock, dismiss keyguard
So the alarm screen can wake the phone and show over the lock screen.
Foreground service
To reliably keep the alarm sound playing while it rings.
None of these permissions is used to access, collect or share personal information. FlexSnooze does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, storage or any other sensitive data.
Purchases
FlexSnooze is a one-time paid app sold through Google Play. Payment and purchase records are handled entirely by Google under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.
Third parties
FlexSnooze contains no third-party SDKs: no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising networks. Because the app has no internet permission, it cannot communicate with any server, ours or anyone else’s.
Children’s privacy
FlexSnooze is a general-audience utility app and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone at all.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, for example if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
